Resilience. A word that says “I can do it, if not, I’ll keep on trying”. It’s about bouncing back and moving forward.
However, when you have done, seen, and experienced things beyond normal human experience, who can move forward with that? Who could understand that?
AND how do you continue to live your “normal” life, go home to your “normal” kids and wife, and deal with “normal” issues after you have seen gut-wrenching, horrific things?
Resilience.
I have come to understand that when you understand what is happening in your mind when you are experiencing those horrific things, you may be able to move beyond them a little more quickly, with a little less effort, and let those images roll off of you like water on a duck’s back.
I hope that the videos and lessons that you view will help you with that. And, if you can learn that the experiences – during and after – have been experienced by more than you, and you don’t judge that you have them, then you can and will move from survival mode to actually living and enjoying other parts of your life.
Enjoy. Learn. Grow.
